Prince of Peace Casserole Ministry The Casserole Ministry prepares large casseroles to feed the homeless at the Good Shepherd Center in downtown Albuquerque. The core group meets approximately bi-weekly in the PoP Community Center Kitchen. Last year over 700 casseroles were delivered. Typically, six to 10 women have a shared morning expeience concocting about 24 casseroles. Others may prepare the same recipes at home and deliver them to the PoP freezer. For those who cannot participate, a donation box is located in the back of the church. Call Elaine Styer at 856-0693 for information. Volunteers in our Casserole Committee recently visited the Good Shepherd Center and served lunch to the homeless just to see the impact of their labor on those in need.
