Baptism...
"Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19

Infant Baptism is a Celebration of Life. In Baptism your child is woven into the fabric of God's eternal love.
Infant Baptism Guidelines
- The parents of the child are the proper persons for presenting the infant for baptism.
- It is required that one of the names given to the child be a Saint's name.
- Except in the case of emergencies, the child should be baptized within the first weeks after birth.
- To start the Baptism process, a state issued Birth Certificate or Hospital Record of the birth is required.
- The parents are required to present founded hope that the infant will be brought up in the Catholic faith.
- Parents and Godparents are required to take Baptismal classes before the Baptism, unless a class certificate no more than two years old can be produced. The required classes are arranged with Deacon Steve Fraker for Prince of Peace parishioners.
- At least one Godparent is required. They must meet the following requirements; they are Catholic, at least age 16, confirmed, present a certificate of completion of a baptismal class, if married, married in the Church, if single, not cohabiting, present a letter from their parish of registration that shows they are active Catholics in good standing.
