Summer Religious Ed Grade 1-5 Sign-up

Religious Education classes for those students entering the first through fifth grades will be offered this Summer from June 3rd - June 21st. Class times are 8:45 AM until Noon, Monday through Friday. 2013 Registration form


May Crowning Begins Month of the Rosary

Fifth grader Patty Molina crowns the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary before Mass to open the Month of Mary. Our Lady has described herself at Fatima as, "I am the Lady of the Rosary" .
Pray the Rosary with your family daily during this Month of Flowers. Or stay behind after daily Mass in recitation.


Family Movie Night June 1st

See our family movie, "Parental Guidance"
at 6:30pm on Saturday, June 1st in the Community Center. Bring a lawn chair, pillow or just sit on the floor. We will provide ice cream and toppings, too! Bring a friend! See: PoP Flyer


Mid-School Vacation Bible School July 9-12th

The 2013 mid-school Vacation Bible School program - VBX-treme will be presented July 9 -12th. Save the dates and make your plans now. Registration information will be available shortly.


Adult Faith Formation May 29th

PoP Monthly Rosary
Sunday, June 16th

Plan to take part in our parish monthly Family Rosary on Sunday, June 16th at 4:30pm in the Sanctuary. Join us in a short prayer service before the 5pm Youth/Lifeteen Mass.





Women's Ministry Clothing Drive
Month of May

The Women's Ministry is hosting their annual drive for Birthright of Albuquerque, a non-profit which provides support to women who are having difficulties with an unplanned pregnancy. They provide medical referrals and distribute donated maternity clothes and baby items to the moms-to-be. Please leave your donations of new or gently used maternity clothing, baby clothing, layette items, diapers, formula, etc. by the cradle in the back of church. Please help new mothers in need! Divine Mercy Cenacle starts June 4th

Prince of Peace is starting a Divine Mercy Cenacle. A Divine Mercy Cenacle is a group of people who meet twice monthly for song, prayer, and discussion on Scripture, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of St. Maria Faustina, as a small Christian community. The revelations given to St. Maria Faustina are excellent for spiritual growth and also give a deeper understanding of our merciful Lord. We will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month in the library from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. For more information contact Ángel Rivera at 821-9397. Flyer


Women's ACTS Retreat
September 26-29th

WOMEN: Have you attended an ACTS Retreat?
The ACTS women are preparing the next fall retreat for you! Take a vacation with the Lord! This weekend is put on by women for women. Dates: Thursday, Sept. 26 ? Sept. 29.
